Taller Puertoriqueño Art Center
Idea & Concept
The Taller puertoriqueño Art Center is a community-based cultural organization whose primary purpose is to preserve and promote Puerto Rican arts and culture. They represent and support all Latinx cultural expressions and their common roots. For the re-branding of their logo, I wanted to emphasize the artistic aspect of the center and the indigenous motifs. The first logo (pictural) is based on the national bird of Puertorico the Spindalis. The typographic logo represents the letters T and P together forming one unique ligne and a drop of paint. The last logo is the indigenous representation of Spindali's footprint.
